My Walk With Farrakhan

The above word means peace and is a greeting given from Muslim to Muslim. However, Minister Farrakhan teaches us that peace is needed in the black world. Therefore, this greeting of As-Salaam Alaikum or peace must become our greeting to one another. It is also a short prayer wishing peace on your brother or sister.

I would like to take this time to thank you for stopping by my website ~disclaimer~ and I hope your visit will be enjoyable. My name is Brother Mustafaa and I am a student of life, the word of Almighty God and many things that make life fulfilling. You will find on this website the story of my journey from nothingness to a better life with many more steps to take and many self improvement resources .

I was initially influenced to make changes in my life via the Islamic faith and the ministry of The Honorable Louis Farrakhan, which is the teachings of The Most Hon. Elijah Muhammad. Click the links above titled "My walk with Farrakhan" for more info. While I consider myself a Muslim, in the strictest sense of the word, which means simply one who obeys God, I am not limited by that label and I seek to work with all spiritually conscious people regardless of their faith perspective. I don't believe in religious bigotry or religious chauvinism.

God is not finished with me yet! I am a work in progress with the best yet to come.

Through the years of my journey- I have been blessed to do many positive things on behalf of my faith and the greater community. These things include writing for newspapers, interviews for radio, public speaking in rallies, speaking in churches, jail ministry, spiritual counselor and more importantly work with the man and woman on the bottom.

I am for unity in the black community. I am tired of the divisions that we create for ourselves whether they be religious, political, class, educational, social, financial or other artificial barriers we set up to block dealing with another brother or sister in our community. I believe that black love is black power and is what we need more of.

Take some time to look around at the resources provided, check out some of my articles, read my testimony of My walk with Farrakhan or send me an email to let me know what's on your mind.

I leave you as I came praying for your peace!

Check out my essay: My view of Prophet Muhammad Pt. 3: what is Orthodox Islam, which begs the question is the current interpretation of Islam we see practiced by the "mainstream" the correct way?
